They were a prefab band. The answer is NO. Eminem worked hard and fought hard to get to where he is. Some of his music and lyrics are not to my liking, but most of his stuff is good and is as funny as hell.
Although, I hope with all the $$ he has now, he will seek some therapy for his momma issues and stop singing 'bout them!
