General: A Longer War Likely
Logistics, Enemy Force Reevaluation
FORWARD OPERATING BASE SHELL, Iraq, March 27 -- The Army's senior ground commander in Iraq, Lt. Gen. William S. I will repeat. I watch the briefing by CENCOM every night. The General that gives the briefing every night works directly for General Franks and is the spokes person for General Franks. Up to this point in time he has not said that the advance has been stalled for any reason other than weather. I will be anxiously looking forward to his briefing tonight.
