Because you don't "own" it.
For instance you have paid for a membership and agreed to the license the owner or licensee of the content allows you. In most cases you have paid for a months membership to a site. I rarely see a site that "Sells" a specific number of set/videos. For instance on CCBILL I see it says 30 days for $29.95. Nothing about 500 videos for $29.95.

And here is the problem. So many think that when they buy a record, film, program or porn membership they own the music, film, script or videos. They do not. If you stay in a hotel room for a week, you don't own the bed for life.

If you want great music, films, programs and porn you have to allow those creating it to make a living. If they don't you won't have it. Or do people want others to pay while they get it for free?

As for Pirate Bay and the other sites that pioneer the vision of everything should br free and shared, I wonder if they stretch that to their advertising? These people are in it to make money and will bend the law anyway they like. Unless of course you steal from them.
Exactly right. All good points and examples. None of which gideon will acknowledge.

Like any good board troll, he picks and chooses which he will bash and defend. He has yet to address CrkMStanz posts. Which put the period on the sentence to the point I was trying to make.
