As a disabled person myself I can still appreciate it. Some do need to lighten up a tad. The jokes were not distasteful or crude. They were not really done to be mean spirited either, and honestly most disabled people often get a kick out of a little humor pointed in our direction. It helps with the whole fitting in the category of still being somewhat normal.
