48 hours in the life of MojoHost route enhancements....

Hi Everyone,

So one of the things that makes our network unique by comparison to competitors is the tremendous route diversity, capacity and route enhancement technology that MojoHost has in place. We have deployed the Internap FCP 10Gx which allows MojoHost to go light years beyond the competition who uses solely BGP4 and some manual route selection.

Here's a summary overview from the 27th and 28th of route changes made based on performance criteria....

....as you can clearly see, with such diversity every carrier demonstrates that they bring unique value. At some slices in time and places in the world each carrier has better routes than all of the competition. Also clear, no human or team of people could otherwise have such network visibility and make as many changes in such a short period of time.

Some competitors are vague about their carrier mix and others place emphasis on 'marquis' carrier brands they connect to without being honest about how much or little traffic they send over those links. None of them have equivalent technology in place.

All carriers are good and bad, that's my stance. I am of the opinion that it's how a host puts their network together and makes it's routing decisions that ultimately results in high performance and reliable IP transit. The strategy we deploy is expensive but effective and the end result is that our final blend of bandwidth is unequivocally smarter and more resilient then every single competitor regardless of price, carrier mix or market perception.

Questions? let talk!

Cheers,

Brad
