Doesn't matter that he went over your line, or mine, whats critical is that by agreeing with the decision you accept the right and competence of that person or group to SET a line.
Next month, or year, when they decide that whatever you do is over the line, remember that YOU gave them your acceptance of their qualifications to do so.
