Everything in my house becomes the puppy's toy. My phone, my remotes, my furniture, paper, plastic, shoes, flower pots.......
My 13 year old for the 12 years I've had him "nurses" on a stuffed hedgehog that makes snorting sounds when squeezed. We suspect he was a puppy mill dog and removed from his mother too soon and the sound it made reminded him of his mother. Even though now he's deaf and most of the hedgehogs around the house are broken, he still nurses on them and they help him relax and go to sleep.
