Even though we helped Saddam with weapons when they went after Iran, France, Germany and Russia set up long term deals with the Baath party and continued to support his actions against his people and the world.
What actions against his people?
If Saddam didn't publicly proclaim his hate for the US, let is be known that he will (if he doesn't already) support the Terrorists that attacked our country, we would be leaving him alone right now.

I feel for you.. I really do. I remember 2nd grade, when the 6th graders used to pick on me. Please boycot US goods, Protest your governmets deals with the USA for money, get off your collective ass and become productive enough that MY tax dollar doesn't end up paying for the road in front of your house.
