unplug modem
unplug router

go to the computer
go to RUN:
type IPCONFIG/RELEASE
then IPCONFIG/RENEW

then plug your modem back in ...
take a pen and hold the RESET button for 30 seconds on the modem
then take a pen hold the RESET button for 30 seconds on the router
...Reset computer
