Its not worth it. I have been "busted" a few times shooting without a permit and I was never fined. They just ID the girl if she looks young.

Shooting in LA hotels is way easier than Vegas. According to the Venetian shooting in hotel rooms in Vegas it is illegal, while in LA it is just against policy. The nicer hotels are the ones you have to be most careful in.
