The best advice I ever got in my life regarding relationships was from my dad. He said before getting angry regarding something stop and ask yourself just one question.

Will the circumstances regarding this situation matter to me in 10 years or will I even remember it?

If the answer is no drop it, it is not worth fighting for.

So that means....if your boy/friend/husband/ whatever beats the crap out of you, it WILL matter in 10 years and you need to deal with it.

If he leaves his dirty socks on the chair but breaks his ass providing for you....stop worrying about the socks...if he died tomorrow would you say "thank god he died, now I don't have to pick up his socks...or would you say "I would do anything in the world just to see his stupid socks on the chair again".

In other words, don't sweat the small stuff. When you are young, you tend to make a big deal out of everything. She could be stressed about the wedding, stressed about a lot of things.
