It is pretty cold here in London. Obviously, it gets much colder in other places around the world but we aren't used to it being this cold for this long. Most mornings, I go for a walk around a lake near my place. In the 12 plus years that I have lived here I have never seen the lake freeze but it has now. It has a bird sanctuary on it and it has been interesting watching the birds over the last couple days as they try to adapt to the ice.

So, this morning I decided to take my camera with me and grab a few shots around my frozen walk:
