Northridge quake back in 94' ... THAT was an earthquake! Imagine feeling AND hearing your floors, walls and ceiling violently shaking for 10 seconds ... 10 seconds is not really a long time, right? ... WRONG! Count one mississippi, 2 mississippi, etc ... I was in pitch darkness in bed with this chick like WTF!!! When the fuck is it going to end?!?! The shit lasted more like 30+/- seconds!

House was WRECKED! Shit everywhere! Book cases fell over ... the fridge fell over ... the walls and ceiling above our bed had a crevice 2-3 inches deep! Mad craziness!
The one thing i found interesting after that was EVERYONE was so nice and polite to each other while driving that morning. All the traffic lights were out and people were like, "go ahead, waving at each other ... no, YOU go ... it's ok!
