Implying that I would stand over a Redhat box for a month is hilarious. If you have problems with the timeline it's because an exerienced RedHat admin who does it for a living had difficulties with your installation.
Most of your statements are fabrications and that's not what I said. That's what you implied. Linux is a very popular kernel project which has enjoyed tremendous success. The patches employed by Redhat corporation are often nonstandard and require an experienced admin to secondguess the bugs. It was a bad combination for the machine because the drivers available for the RAID were very old and buggy, and Redhat did not automatically recognize the RAID.
I gave Redhat setups to an experienced admin and after some days he was able to get most of the requested configurations installed. Moreover we host several Redhat machines operated by experienced admins who have almost no issues in months or years.
Your diatribe about linux is your own creation. I had perhaps one conversation with you on the phone and since that time you have been misquoting me rabidly.
To the point: I don't make RedHat machines I have others make them.
