exactly what you said about Boscov's can be said about the automobile industry and the financial institutions.

the automobile companies were failing way before the economy went to shit. their cars are inferior compared to european and japanese cars and always need to be repaired, and they never adapted.

well, financial institutions. do i have to tell you it is their own fault for going bankrupt by getting into risky loans? i think this record has been played over and over again.
