I think you're missing the deeper metaphysical implications of this question. This is perhaps one of the most serious questions of our time.
Actually, believe it or not there was a point to the question. For one, both Serge and Joe purposely try to rile people up. Who knows if they believe half the shit they say. Second, and more importantly, how many people oppose the war think that everyone who supports the war is a "fascist, war monger" and how many people who are ardently pro-war, think everyone that's not pro-war is unpatriotic or a traitor.
