If anything your Hedman guy should have gotten a penatly for punching Esposito like he did, and your goaltender was in academy award mode for overacting and embellishing the hit.
I've never seen a player's headgear come off so easily as the Swedish goaltender's did. Sneeze on him and there goes his headgear flying through the air.
And yes, Canada has been beaten before. Just not as often as we've won, that's all. :D

Let's flip the case, I don't even want to dare to think what would have happened if a Swedish palyer leg-tackled your goalie like that. And you keep saying he went for the puck as if that has anything with the leg to do, he purposly held his leg out and cut the goaltenders leg, that is 2min penalty.
And the second run over is clearly interferance, the goaltender is absolutley out of play going for the bench cause of a delayed penalty when Della Rovere runs him over from the side.
That said, yep each team got what they deserved in the end, Canada had better special teams and were more agressive.
