Any win takes a certain amount of luck. To chalk their entire win over Russia to "getting lucky" is pretty naive of you though. Didn't a Russian player miss a key shot on an empty net? Is that luck on Canada's part or a mistake on Russia's part? And that goal Canada got looked like a lot of skill was going on there too along with all this "luck" we're talking.


I suppose while we're disagreeing someone should say that it should have been Canada-Russia in the final, because of the two I'd say Russia was a tougher team to beat than Sweden.

Conjecture aside, Canada now looks forward to getting a record 6th Jr Championship gold a year from now.
