It's not just female webmasters. Although my friends don't assume I'm actually "part of the action" so to speak (as people might with a female) I do have to explain to them that most of my work is programming and statistics... I don't spend each day on a set with hawaiian shirts, cuban cigars, and giggling naked girls running around.
