And as you state so bluntly "the US is run by a branch of the same religion" I highly suggest you look into that statement a little bit. We have a thing here called "seperation of church and state" wich allows us to not be goverened by religion. It was a good move too, seeing as all these countrys ruled by religious governments are all doing so well
