Do you realize that if the US didn't force Israel to accept a cease fire in the 1967 6 Day War that Israel would be one of the most oil rich nations in the Middle East? Do you realize the US promised to financially support Israel for accepting the cease fire, which was brokered by the then USSR and the US pressured Israel to accept, even though it was a defensive war on Israel's part? You see how that works?
