Ok it comes down to this ....

If you peered out your window into your next door neighbours house and saw him beating the shit out of his wife, then called the police, but they said they would be a few hours .... what would you do?

Those who are FOR the US are saying they would go next door and stop the guy by beating the shit out of him if needs be.

Those who are not for the US are saying they would take confidence in the police system to resolve the situation, and go back to their TV shows.

The france thing is like ... well he may be beating the shit out of his wife and might kill her, but he's my mate and owes me $50 and if I do anything then I might not get it.

Just my thoughts.
