Sugar is VITAL for the brain and the nervous system. The only fuel the brain can use is glucose. Your brain can literally absorb more than 50% of it.
So, depending on what you do for a living, your stress levels, lifestyle, thought requests, etc... your body is always trying to regulate your sugar levels for proper consumption... but it's never the same. Too low or too high over time can lead to Hypoglycemia or Obesity which then can become Diabetes... crazy huh.
Higher stress and harder thinkers, for example like programmers, will have this type of craving more so in spurts or usually after spending a few hours working on code. This is why you see chocolate bars on their desks all the time.
I for one have sugar cravings, I work 10-14hr days, constantly building and developing new business opptys and I do it hands on, from graphics to code to marketing. I guess this is an addiction too... ;)
When your body needs it, give it, it's asking for it... just like yawning is asking for air to the brain.
Shit, been up since 5:30am this morning, I need a sugar fix right about this time.
Peace
Ben
