But I hear what you're saying ... totally! We've run this type of contest now a few times and it's been very successful at keeping our "actual $100 per sale promo" on the first page so webmasters will see it. And, every actual post CAN BE a winner. The # 51, 101, 151 promo/contest threads are just monotonous IMO. With this, everyone that participates truly has a chance. Plus it's got 100% transparency. The winner is chosen by the close of the Dow Jones. No way to "snipe" that! LOL
Now, I just have to figure out a way to get MORE webmasters that normally don't post on contest/promo threads to post in ours for the chance to win - and ultimately take advantage of whatever promo we're running at the time and send more sales
