If it's a check issue, it's out of the rep's hands and they are more than likely telling you EXACTLY, word for word, what they have been told to tell you including not answering your emails. If a check bounces and especially if they haven't reissued in almost 6 months, I'd go straight to the owner anyway. In fact, I probably would have done that back in July. Reps don't have control of the bank account - the owner's do.
