it limited the number of tv shows i could record per day which sucked on mondays where to many good shows are played

since rating system doesn't count any of the commercials that are tivoed or pvr'ed anyway downloading a commercial free version instead does do any more economic damage than using a pvr.

Now i never miss a show ending, and never have to limit myself to number of shows the pvr is able to record at the same time.
