I have 2 hours of content in different rooms and viewed various parts throughout on the lens of a couple cameras... every shot was jumpy, squares, lines, etc.
These digital camcorders with 8mm can film at different FPS?? I was looking at all the cameras to see if possibly there was a setting that would auto correct but couldn't find one.

Dude... stop. There are no 8mm High Definition (HD) camcorders. Wake up and smell the 1440X1080i resolution of a $7,000 High Definition Camera - it did not mate and make babies with a beaten-up and dropped 8mm consumer quality camera from the 80's. Go look in the mirror... Your guy is jerking you a good load and storing the tapes right up against a huge stereo speaker or magnet or he stepped on the tape or threw it up against a wall.
God... why is everyone clueless here? You are not protecting or developing the next Martin Scorsese of porn. He bought a cheap throw away camera at a pawn shop and sold you a bill of goods. I'm not mean - I'm just right. And you knew it too when you posted that clip. This thread is boring if everyone is in full flight from reality. I sold my first photograph when I was 12 years old - what the fuck do I know? Brian Michael Bradley prolly before that. There have been alot of technical responses from alot of people in the know to your questions and still you take the word of the guy who shot that? I'm starting to not feel sorry for you.
You get what you pay for - and then he embezzled you for $1700 and cashed your bonus check on top of it? Good luck to you and your "Content provider". I'm going to go chop down a Cherry tree and tell you Abe did it... can I shoot for you? Send me a check and a wire... I'll fake like I didn't get the check, spend the wire, and then cash the check too. Let's be friends!
