i got this working the other night by using

"email picture" then email it to yourself

long winded, but on this site I deleted my cache and it had no effect.

I did a search and found something about IE gets a problem sometimes when saving pictures from a password protected area or something.......maybe check this :

this is a known bug in IE that has several causes, the most common of which being that the temporary internet cache is full. The solution to this is to empty your cache.
