Bush isnt the liberator of Iraq, last I checked, the brits, Australia and 30+ others were behind this cause, America is simply the largest, but he did initiate the following through of what the UN should have.
As for the rebuilding of Iraq, there are more than 3 million worldwide Iraq exiles who are more than willing to even return to their homeland and assist in its rebuilding. They love their land, they hate Saddam.

Most buildings in major cities are designed this way I believe. Maybe not older buildings of course, but one would assume engineers think about these things and i am certain skyscraper designers and construction consists of many more factors than simple 2x4s and carpet. New Yorks structures must be a wild example of human architecture.
