Carbon Credits
Not just Shady, but really stupid. I have a big forest in my country, and, let's say, USA have a carbon production tax much higher the maximum rate.
The country comes to me, give me money for the carbon I spare, and it's all done right? If I "keep" something that spare carbon, than I'm saved from the global warming doom right?

Buying carbon credits in the nowhere land is something that will never save the planet, and this is done all the time now.
