Why are we at war with Iraq?

Why do we say that Saddam tortures people when the U.S. has now condoned torture of even the children of suspected terrorists?

Why does the Bush administration say they are liberating the Iraqi people, when even on the streets of Baghdad a person can buy guns, ammo...drive without a license, etc?

And if Bush is the liberator of the Iraqi people, how come they don't let the people come up with their own "rebuilding" plan?
