I have been told by two different sponsors "If I paid out more then $30 a signup, then I would have to shave". Simple as that. And yes, there is affiliate software out there with built in shaving, but the majority of sponsors don't shave, or ones even with the software that can't shave don't have that activated. Easiest way to not be shaved, use a sponsor you can trust, simple as that. The top trusted ones in my books (Without ref codes) are Topbucks and Pornkings. Why topbucks? Used them forever, consistant ratios, but they are doing more and more to get them even lower (1:80 last period with mixed traffic). Normially it is around 1:150 though if I look over a period, or multiple years. Pornkings, b/c I am converting under 1:30 with them on raw hits. If they were shaving, then fuck, I don't care, they motherfucking convert my traffic, and they count raw hits everytime I hit one of their sites.
