yah, i'd hate to be shot by any kind of bullet
but yah a 7mm Remington mag is probably the fastest factory round out there. The faster the bullet reaches the target the less time gravity has to pull it down and drop.
any bullet, as soon as it leaves the barrel, gravity is pulling it down (32' per sec squared)
in theory, if i shot this round perfectly horizontal and also dropped another bullet just like it next to me at the same time, they would both hit the ground at the same time. The forward speed does not affect the downward speed (gravity)
so the faster the bullet the more accurate you can shoot and the less drop you have to compensate for. plus a side affect of this is that it also knocks the hell out of what your shooting.
a 7mm mag can kill anything in North America.
