This is what truly troubles me. Ten or twenty years from now, history will have recorded as fact that DS II (lol, sorry, I don't remember to whom I should attribute that bit of cleverness) was a direct response to the attack on the World Trade Center, DC, etc. No one will question it.
I support our troops. At the same time, I'm old enough to remember Ronald Raygun telling the American people, "We will not negotiate with terrorists." And I remember what came next.
