Yup, Tojo's was one of the first, he is actually the creator of the California Roll (Tojo Roll). I had personal cooking lessons from him once, his stuff is truly the best.
He was mentioning that he does private catering to bands like Rolling stones when they are in town. Just don't expect to get a cheap meal, though its HIGHLY worth it.
The best way to enjoy his restaurant is to let him decide what you eat. If you request it, he'll make a custom meal for you, chosen and made by him. Usually its crazy ass shit that other restaurants don't even offer. Hes in the kitchen like 99% of the time,,
