I corrected myself, I was referring to the former USSR, which was a big part of Europe:
Ukrajine, Belarus, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldavia.. I am sorry to tell you that most important part of USSR were always European and still is in Russian federation.
So forget asia. Russian federation is not USSR.

No. European Economic Community was established in 1958 and it was a parent of EU.

People voted for communists in Czechoslovakia, people supported communists in Russia so you are just wrong.. communists were popular in Russia at the end of WW1.. people believed them to make their social situation better.

Anyway I was referring mainly to Comecon which was similiar to EU and it got fucked just as the whole USSR empire got.

EU will be the next one just as soon as people realise that it steals their nationality and dictates them their own rules. Just a matter of time. I will be happy to see it go.
