Obama want to shut down tax havens!GO SUCK MY ASS

Like i think lots of you have voted for that guy well i can expect lots of bad talk against me but still i needed to say this since he has lots of good things also this is just one TOO DUMB FOR WORDS idea of him. Why?

Does Obama Have the Power to do this? ? Absolutely not. He will be President of the USA is all, not king of the world.

He cannot tell other sovereign nations what to do. Here is the one world order, world?s policeman garbage rearing its ugly head again. Many people thought Obama would not be guilty of this garbage hoping to get away from Bush foreign policies.
----------------------
What is likely to happen? - Some of the EU anti-privacy countries and USA will team up and pick on smaller countries that are offshore centers. Some will cave in and submit to them, many will tell them to go away and stop bothering them. They know they will not get them all and will be happy with shutting down some. They will come back again another way and shut down more if they can. That is how they work. New ones always pop up. That is how the world works. The USA did themselves in with this USD crisis that affected Asia, EU and North America. Far fewer countries will be likely to listen to the USA now after the financial crisis, which is still ongoing. Some will listen hoping to get a handout. Overall there should be a shift in the offshore tax haven world. Switzerland is a high value target sure to suffer serious losses in banking secrecy.
---------------------
What can Obama do to USA Citizens & Residents? ? He can stop wires going to and from offshore tax centers. This he has the power to do. It would probably be done by requiring the bank to request an invoice on all foreign wires. If the bank did not feel the invoice was valid they would protest and report it as a suspicious event to homeland security and not send the wire. They could impose a tax on wires going to tax havens.
They could start investigations and audit those sending money offshore or receiving money from offshore. It is hard to predict how they could harass people in the USA using offshore Tax Havens but he would have several options. Obama could cut off the tourist trade to the Caribbean offshore countries to harass them if they did not submit to his draconian policies. The problem is the Caribbean nations have been so harassed already there is no offshore banking left to speak of for Americans in the Caribbean. No pot of gold for Obama in the Caribbean.
----------------------
What Would Obama Want to Happen? ? He would want to be able to get the offshore tax havens to open the books to them regarding banking, corporations, trusts etc. Then he would want the IRS to be able to send faxes to the offshore banks telling them to confiscate so much money from such and such account and wire it to them. All done without any courts, any trials, any evidence, no due process, no trial by a jury of your peers etc. The confiscation of funds would all be done administratively by a civil servant employee of the US Government. If they ever got money in error it would take decades to ever get it back and the expenses to sue them would probably use up all the money anyway, so once they get the funds, the funds would probably be gone forever. Of course this would violate the laws and constitutions of these countries, but little things like points of law and constitutions will not get in the way of his programs.
If they get the records they will collect penalties and taxes from USA people in wholesale quantities. Their idea of penalties is often several times the tax itself. Of course to stop protestations, court cases pleading innocence, errors, etc. they will threaten stiff prison sentences. This will mean more people without pensions, without savings and people unable to afford healthcare or health insurance. The people with less money who have government jobs or are on government sponsored social welfare programs will benefit with more and better benefits. Of course the problem is the people that are productive and own businesses and provide jobs will be punished financially. The incentive will be there for them to move offshore as the big corporations have done. This will make things worse. Businesses that make and sell things is the answer. Nothing we heard from Obama will encourage people to do this. Doom and gloom from Obama.
---------------------------------
Which Countries will be hit hardest? ? There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in the Caribbean former tax havens that really are no longer tax and privacy havens. Most of the Americans have been driven away years ago due to pressure exerted by the USA on these governments reinforced by a threat of loss of tourism. Just attacking the Caribbean former tax havens is not going to yield anywhere near enough return to satisfy his needs for funds for his programs. He will go after the European Tax Havens since the EU is sympathetic to high taxes and the abolition of any form of privacy. The Swiss will probably submit to some serious extent as will Austria, Luxembourg, Lichtenstein, Cypress and other European jurisdictions. As to what level they will submit remains to be seen. They will throw him a bone or two at a minimum but Obama?s appetites and his social programs may require a lot more than a bone. Americans will find it harder and harder to get accounts in many (not all) offshore havens.

This of course is what Obama wants. Many EU people will also find the same thing. Panama not being a tourist area will probably resist strongly. They cooperate nicely with the USA drug interdiction programs and the USA will probably not want to rock the boat. Countries like Ecuador and Guatemala will never cooperate with Obama and thus we offer asset protection services and banking in these jurisdictions. These countries have awful relations with the USA. Hong Kong and Singapore may give in a little but maybe not at all. In general there will be a reluctance to open bank accounts for Americans and some EU citizens in a lot of the tax havens. There will also be some mandatory closing of bank accounts for American and EU citizens in some of these jurisdictions.
--------------------------
What can you do? ? Get your money out now! The ones who get out first, get out with the most on the best of all possible terms. Open offshore corporations, foundations, bank accounts and stock brokerage accounts now before it is too late and you will be prevented from doing so or penalized for doing so. The USA constitution, if they still use that up there, prevents retroactive laws. They should grandfather your offshore structures in and allow you to keep them. If they impose a tax on money going offshore in the near future you will escape this since your money would have been moved before any such tax is made into law. If they tax money coming back into the USA, just leave it outside. You can buy real estate offshore. You can open stock brokerage accounts offshore. You can open businesses offshore. Start to think globally like they do.
----------------------------
For more Serious People ? You can leave and settle down in Central America you can ride out the storm. Panama is nice, a bit expensive but nice. In Panama you can get a permanent residency easily. Panama citizenship and Passports is just about impossible. Panama allows gun ownership and CCW licenses are fairly simple.

You can come to Guatemala. It is cheap to live. Citizenships and passports are not at all hard to obtain. Gun ownership and CCW licenses are easy including what the USA calls class 3 weapons or AOW weapons. You can even have licenses to carry these concealed. No tax on offshore income in either country.

vote with your feet. If enough people leave you may not be able to leave one day soon. They want to tax you, not let you go to live a new life in another country. Unfortunately working for others is not a realistic option when you move offshore. You need to be self employed or retired but living is cheap and good in Guatemala. Crime in the USA is way higher than in Panama or Guatemala. Medical care is far cheaper and much better in these countries. In Guatemala just about any drug is available without a prescription. Panama has a lot of drugs available without a prescription. Guatemala has simply horrible relations with the USA, which can be a plus to some.

Just wanted to share that with you guys.
