I guess you've never heard of the phrase "long term effects".
I'm not saying I believe McD's causes cancer, I'm just saying that your logic is flawed. Just because someone doesn't get cancer in a month or a year or in five years from something they did for one month, doesn't mean that they won't get it later or wouldn't if they'd done the risky behavior for a longer period of time starting when they were younger.
