Protestors to bankrupt San Francisco
I'm all for people expressing themselves. I think debate and dissent is healthy.
But, now the war has started. Can't the protestors channel their energy into something more effective. Like how about raising money for aid to Iraqi children. But, no, what do they do? They close down San Fran's financial center today. Costing business hundreds of thousands of dollars. It took me 1 hour to drive 3 miles in SF today.
Do you know how much these protests cost the city? $150,000 each protest. So far, they have cost taxpayers in SF more than a million dollars. It seems like there are better ways to sway public opinion other than pissing everyone off.
