im going to go with this and then get a separate blu-ray player then plug the blu ray into my receiver then i dont have to worry about full 7.1 because it is capable.

interesting also my projector is from 2007 but does not have HDMi but has VGA, so to beat to codec i have to purchase HD fury:

which basically tricks the reciever and player that it is HDMI compatable, my projector only goes up to 1080i but i read the difference between 1080p and 1080i is so small that your eyes cant tell. no idea if this is true or not i guess i will have to find out for myself.
