Yes, in terms of what we're doing as pornographers it's purely semantics. But the clinical (medical) definition is far more restrictive.
The clinical definition of sexual fetishism is a sexual disorder based on recurrent, intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges or behaviors involving the use of nonliving objects (e.g., underwear). It's considered a disorder when it causes distress or impairs life functioning. source
