Seriously, they say "your tax dollars" but in reality "our tax dollars" only pays the interest on the debt the country owes. Look it up.

So if we all didn't pay, then the country would not be able to cover the interest on the debt and do further into debt like most American people do when they get in over their head with interest rates they can't pay.
