Done right it's absolutely a full time job, no less frustrating or tiring than working. The difference is that there's love at home, not in the office. Perhaps I'm a bit removed from more uncomplicated living but running our household successfully is a lot of work and not indifferent than running a business. Home making isn't just bringing the kids to and from school, it's 1-2 outfits per person per day in the wash. It's cooking 1-3 meals, cleaning, errands, shopping, gift shopping, taking care of family business, teaching the kids and a million more things.
