You're right, it's more like TWO full time jobs! I've been a full time mother, worked in the corporate world and worked for myself. I can say w/o question the "mother" job was the most stressful and busy - with the least amount of pay ;)

Full time mothers that I know are members of the PTA, room mothers, carpool drivers to and from school, drive to several activities, etc. Any time they have alone at home is spent doing laundry, cleaning the house, grocery shopping, running hubby's errands and cooking.

If it's so easy, men would be begging to be stay at home fathers ;)
