Let me try to put the exercise into words.
1. Arm straight in front of you, pointing forward. Hand angled up, palm facing forward.
2. Move your forearm 90 deg up while keeping your hand angled up.
3. Rotate your hand forward. The end position is as if you were holding a tray. 3 right angles between body/upper arm, upper/lower arm, lower arm/hand.
4. Move your entire arm to the side of your body, keeping the previous posture.
5. Extend your lower arm down, so that your arm is straight. Keep your hand flexed.
6. Rotate your hand from pointing down to pointing up.
Repeat the whole thing about 10 times, every time pay attention that you flex your hand to its max. reach and don't stop flexing while you move your arm.
I did this exercise for about 3 weeks, solved the numbness in my fingers. This may or may not work for you.
