Bad what the kids did, since it shows a severe lack of respect for life, which makes it very likely, though not certain, they will physically hurt humans for thrills too at some point.
However, I wonder how many folks who are upset about what the kids did condone dog fighting, or cock fighting (the birds lol), horse racing (ok, that's a step down from the others, but it's abusive too), etc. Something to ponder.
