People that play expertly and professionaly often know the fuck all nothing about modes and careless about them. Theory is for morons that tend to be non creative with exception of a few who happen to have both Talent and creativity.
You get to a point where you feel nothing you do on a guitar is right if you follow theory to close.

I put the book down on theory alot of the time they make for great references on occasion but theory is not the end all be all. If Yngway had half a brain on theory he would have said something more potent than studying modes to play better.

ALot of guys just talk that shit and really got no idea what they are saying.

What he posted is like saying, "Oh yeah I didnt like what I heard but I should sound technical and just throw in these big words people use in music theory to sound smart..."
