I've gotten bottled in LA to the shoulder and I have had people tell me its the best shit they heard in a long time. Both and the same to me. I just do what I think sounds good. After all it's me talking through the fucking thing why do I want to talk like someone else when expressing myself?
Only reason we play a guitar is to chill out and have some fun with it
PS: THe Ibanez. I like Ibanez I really do I just have a problem with them not giving me a raw sound. I like grizzly tones and Ibanez really did not do that for me. Maybe it's the rigs being used with the Ibanez that I just messed around with. Ibanez has really a perfect sound tones out of it are very precise which is probably why I am not into them.
Put it through a Marshal and ya sound like everyone else
Even though Marshal has one of the best sounds and most major guys run around with em. It's ironic in a way.
Whats really Ironic is some guys that are in the pro's just put Marshals upfront and its not what they are actually playing through. Dave Mustane comes to mind about this because behind those marshal's ya see on stage he is running through Line 6.
One can say that some people look for gear first to determine if what they hearing is good LOL
I play through a ROland JC120 with a simple DS 1 Distortion pedal. SO the crunch is doubled. THe Distortion on the Roland about 1/2 way and the DS 1 3/4's.
