I've had slaw all sorts of ways. I was born and raised in the South and it varies from place to place. If I'm having bbq, I'd rather have mayo-based coleslaw and if there's not already a bit of mustard in it, I add that and pepper.
My latest thing has been broccoli slaw (can by it pre-shredded and bagged where they have the bagged lettuce mixes). Sometimes I do it like cole slow and sometimes more like a salad or sometimes with just a flavored vinegar.
