I didn't know shit til' my husband went to the academy. I refused to have a weapon in my house that I didn't know how to use. So I educated myself, and learned how to shoot. 10 years later, I'm a better shot than he is.
Not with the shotgun though. Ow. Good news is you don't need to BE as accurate with a shotgun.
